Asphalt Overlay / Resurfacing
Asphalt resurfacing/overlaying is less costly than a complete removal and replacement, and is a good choice if the sub-grade material is still intact. An overlay of asphalt makes your pavement look brand new. Thicker overlays also add structural support to your existing pavement.

If there is severe cracking it is recommended to apply a petromat (fabric) to avoid reflection cracking in the new surface. Please see our Petromat page for more information.
Asphalt resurfacing or overlays do not correct underlying issues that may be caused by deteriorated sub-grade or sub-base. An M&M Estimator will be happy to provide advice concerning all your available options.
